Rejected petition Make all Medical Degrees free to well qualified students.
The UK needs more Doctors and Nurses. Our Government should make medical degrees for doctors and nurses free to new students. This could be one of the best investments taxpayers ever make.

Clearly the trainees would need to commit to work for the NHS for a period of time like 7 years minimum. The above policy would serve a death knell to Agency Cover Costs in the NHS: The cost of which alone would go some way to pay for such a scheme.
