Petition Fund ADHD Clinics with resources for Adult diagnosis assessments across the UK.
ADHD previously known as ADD is not just a problem in children. 50% of adult females & males have it. Funding in the UK for adult diagnosis is beyond disgusting, huge waiting lists. GPs need specialist training. ADHD has 3 different types: inattentive type,hyperactive-impulsive type & combined type.
More details
The disorder is known as a chemical imbalance in the management systems of the brain & experts now believe that this disorder has hereditary, psychological & biological factors. The symptoms in adults can be far less obvious, despite their effect, than those in children. ADHD is very difficult in adult life, and, if left unchecked, sufferers could find themselves with a range of difficulties, like financial complications, problems at work, relationship problems & physical or mental health issues.
