This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament
Rejected petition General election in 2017 so an elected PM will deal with 'Brexit' negotiations.
Theresa May's decision to pull the UK out of the single market is a drastic one. Although the UK did indeed vote to leave the EU they did not vote what that would entail (i.e. if would remain part of the single market). A non-elected Prime Minister should not be making these decisions.
More details
Theresa May should be ashamed that she would rather cling on to power instead of doing the right thing and having an elected PM be dealing with these negotiations.
