Instead of removing or reducing Feed in Tariff payments next year or keeping payments to Feed In Tariffs static, the Government needs to debate the need to make payments to FIT meter owners which reflect the increase in the average bill from suppliers. If the is not done, then people who have spent their own money to save the National Carbon footprint and the National Grid will have done so for nothing. There is no point fitting a Feed In Tariff if the value of the expenditure is going to be swallowed by inflation.
