Councils are not allowed to raise revenue through backdoor, etc car parking charges as in cambridge city.
The councilor in cambridge Tim Ward has stated parking charges will go up to pay for other council services.
This government stated that it would not be allowed for councils to do that so it has to stop NOW.
Council tax has been frozen, but other taxes have risen by councils.
STOP THEM NOW.
