Rejected petition Security Industry Authority processes applications much slower than they suggest

I have noticed alot of people have had issues with the SIA. Applications should take 5 weeks to process however people have been waiting as long as 5 months which has resulted in them being out of work. Everything is now over the Internet which makes it even more difficult to get issues resolved.
