The disgusting,antisocial and un-hygienic disposal of chewing gum is a disgrace.Under tables,on seats,in the streets. To clean the streets of this nasty material requires expensive equipment that most Councils do not have.
Applying 100% duty on every sale will hopefully cover the costs of the clean-up operation and provide The Treasury with some profit too !
