The President of the United States of America should be warmly welcomed to the UK. The US twice sent it's men and women in uniform to die in two World Wars to secure the existence of the UK. PM May was warmly welcomed to the White House recently. Britain should extend the same respect and courtesy.

Queen Elizabeth thanked the US for rescuing the UK in two World Wars at a State Dinner on 24/5/2011. "The United States twice came to the rescue of the free and democratic world when it was facing military disaster. On each occasion, after the end of those destructive wars, the generosity of the US made a massive contribution to our economic recovery."

The views of extremists who despise the US should not, and will not, overturn the long and deep cultural ties between the two nations.
