Special guardians protect vulnerable children and often cannot work due to caring for these children saving them from foster care, saving the system thousands.This benefit cap is heartless towards many children and (previously looked after children and the families who care for them. STOP THIS CAP!

Guardians are excempt from this cap but not special guardians.... guardians are guardians both are raising children until 18 and both situations very traumatic for these children and being raised and cared for by others not birth parents. The new welfare reform has financially put us at risk! The goverment say work or we cut your money! Many can't work and have had to give up employment as many of these children have issues and need us. Should special guardians be going to A FOOD BANK??
