Our local junior school is fundraising £1200 to pay for a cardiac defibrillator machine and staff training as the government doesn't offer funding to schools. In the event of sudden cardiac arrest calling 999 and the use of a defibrillator machine can increase chance of survival from 6-74% !
An excellent cardiac trained nurse has started a fundraising page at our school but what about every school/college and university that doesn't already have one it should be law.
