Rejected petition Support NHS. Medical care is not free. Cost important, recover for uninsured

I have paid all my life into our NHS system and would never travel abroad without appropriate insurance cover.
It must be a pre-requisite in travelling to the UK shores

Pressures of our NHS are at breaking point. £200m is an approximate figure spent on British taxpayers recovering costs for treated patients without insurance or indeed payment back for treatment.
