Rejected petition Enforce BBC to stop giving Nigel Farage Air Time

Nigel Farage is not employed by the BBC. Despite this he appears on the BBC almost on a daily basis. Since 2009 Farage has appeared on Question Time more than any other politician.

UKIP only has one seat. UKIP only has 13% of the vote. Stop giving a small party air time.

The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
