Petition Basic Education & Habitual Truancy

Basic Education:Too many children are still leaving school unable to read or write,and it is unacceptable.Its about time we make sure this ends,right now.I propose that all children be tested at certain times during their education,to make sure they are at a certain level of achievement.Those who fail this are to be kept behind to repeat a year.

Habitual Truancy:Most,if not all,children who are truant on a regular basis end up having no basic education.I propose that the parents of habitual offenders are fined for evry day their child is not in school.This goes for parants on benefits as well.Too many parents think they can wash their hands of their own children,and its about time they took responsibility.
