Petition Allow girls to have scans before pregnancy, for awareness of womb abnormalities

At 7wks pregnant I was informed that I had a womb abnormality, a bicornuate uterus. Fewer than 1in 200 women have this. This caused me to have a preterm delivery with my daughter, causing her to be born at 28wks+1. She was also born breach. Emilia stayed in the NICU until she fell to sleep 30/1/17

More details

There are other abnormalities that girls can have but for the the abnormality I have, here are a FEW facts backed up with my own experience.

miscarriage risk is at 63% for women with this.
15-25% chance of preterm delivery. This can be dangerous for the baby’s survival. Emilia was born at 28wks+1 & her organs were under developed.
40-50% babies present as breech (feet first) during labor & delivery.
forceps were used to help deliver her causing a bleed to the brain and damaged brain tissue.
