Many uses of plastics are unnecessary and irresponsible, the regulation should include packaging. All plastics Produced in the UK or Imported should require a license. Necessary use such as Medical and certain foods are acceptable.

All plastic bags should be banned other than those used for hygiene purposes and waste disposal, which should be clear, transparent bags.
This will reduce the need for recycling and lower pollution. It will also mean a responsible approach to the use of resources.
