Rejected petition Ban the use of "Team GB"

Teams that represent Great Britain in various sports are often referred to as "Team GB".
America does not label itself "Team USA", Australia does not use the term "Team Australia" and so on.
The use of "Team GB" does not promote pride in our country, rather it's use brings Great Britain's sports sides to being little more than a corporate logo.
We are fortunate that in this country we have teams and individuals that regularly achieve on the international stage and we, the undersigned would prefer to see them as being representatives of Great Britain.
Ban the use of "Team GB" forthwith.
