Closed petition Introduce compulsory education for children on how to save & the cost of living.

Closed on

There is currently nothing compulsory in the curriculum to teach children about debts, managing your money or the cost of living.

Personal and social education should include modules to help prevent a future society in debt.

#TeachOurKidsToSave

Children are encouraged to get student loans and surrounded by advertising encouraging them to get into debt. With education in high school this could be avoided.
Also

Student loans, is 18 old enough to decide to get into debt?

With rents rising, students are finishing university with more debt than ever. If you had known the impact of having this debt could of stopped your mortgage affordability. Would you still have had yours if you had been taught early on to save?
