Petition New generation social housing policy

It is an issue close to many of our hearts that too many people are without affordable and safe accommodation. That as a country we are not doing enough to provide affordable housing, specialist housing units for under 25's, mother and baby units for our future generations.

We are campaigning for a new policy dictating:-

- Housing to be provided only to those with 10+ years in the UK
- New Decent Homes Standards
- Rent assessed on affordability with a baseline on each property
- Annual property reviews including tenancy and accommodation
- New Tenancy Groups which deal with localised property repair issues
- More specialised properties including low rent properties, young peoples living, over 50's & mother and baby units
- New Housing Officer Role & Training
