Petition Burglaries should attract a minimum of a five year prison sentence.

Ordinary citizens are having homes and businesses burgled or cars taken under threat of violence. It is time the judiciary put our safety and well-being above the offender. Hand out lengthy prison sentences and provide in-prison rehabilitation programmes to break the offenders criminal cycle.

Then,following prison release criminals should be made to pay for the cost of their prison stay even if they are on benefits. Make them pay a minimum of £5 per week.
