Petition Reduce the cost of council tax for single occupancy households

Council tax rates are often calculated on a basic household unit of two occupants. At the moment, single occupancy households are only offered a 25% reduction on full council tax rates.

This discount should be increased to 50%, as single occupants represent half of the number of occupants used to create the standard council tax rate.
