Petition Stop paying subsidies for renewables because they are adding CO2 not reducing it

The thermal efficiency of Closed Cycle Gas Turbines (CCGTs) when ramping up and down in response to wind generation drops for up to 4 hours and each end of the ramping process. This increases the amount of gas that is burned so that 35kg of CO2 is emitted for every MWh generated by wind generation.
