The mandate of the current government expired on 19 December 2016. After 16 years Hyppolite Kanambe alias Joseph Kabila refuses to relinquish power and must be held accountable for the murder of un-armed civilians by Police and soldiers ultimately under his control.

There is photographic evidence of the slaughter of un-armed civilians at the residence of The Honourable Muanda Nsemi an elected government deputy. Currently his home is under siege with all amenities cut. At his residence there are the elderly, women and children who went there to pray. I have information that the situation is deteriorating and risks to human life is high. We want the International community to intervene to save the lives of the People of Congo. It is Imperative to act now.
