Petition Introduce knowledge on diversity and the LGBT+ to the primary school curriculum

If children are introduced to diversity and the lgbt+ community from a young age this could prevent racism and homophobia. Hate is taught not inate.

Every single person i have encountered who support discrimination were either taught to do so or were only introduced to it via insults (e.g "that's so gay") however those of us who do not, tend to have been shown that skin colour or sexual orientation does not define a person. teaching young children about these topics and people can help them understand that everyone is different and nobody should never be ashamed of who they are.
