Petition Allow the public to "vote out" members of the house of Lords.
The membership of the House of Lords needs to be reduced in size. A directly elected House of Lords would vie with the House of Commons as being representative of the people and has been rejected by the government. As a compromise the electorate should be allowed to choose which peers are sacked.
