Petition Make all car insurers allow drivers to volunteer for the NHS, by use of the car.

I am shocked to learn that I am not allowed to volunteer to help the NHS by doing a volunteering job, by helping patients get to their appointments at hospital and back home. This is what they would call business use of the vehicle, and this is what I would call a breach of human rights.

I received an email from my insurer which said: “Thank you for choosing Debenhams Car Insurance. Please note that you are not covered for carrying passengers as this is considered as business use.”
