Closed Reduce the 10 years Ban for anyone who has at any stage been illegal in the UK.

A new law that deprives qualified settled residents in the UK of becoming British Citizens was enacted in 2014, which has affected a lot of people and has hindered some people from taking up their dream profession which requires you to hold a British passport. There is currently a 10 years ban

This is a plea to the home office to either reduce the length of ban or allow settled residents who have held their permanent residence for over 12 months naturalize .
