This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

Education is now the responsibility of the Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly and Northern Ireland Assembly and so we cannot accept a petition on education which refers to the whole of the UK. You may wish to submit a petition on the Chemistry GCSE in English schools.

Also, you may wish to petition the Scottish Parliament or Welsh Assembly on this matter and can find out more information here:

http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/gettinginvolved/petitions/index.aspx

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
