Rejected petition Ban Funfairs, festivals and fetes from giving out Goldfish as prizes

In the town where I live my cousin was walking home from work and found a Goldfish outside our local park in a bag during freezing cold temperatures.
This fish obviously wasnt wanted so somebody dumped it.
We have animal friendly circus companies now so why is the cruelty at other places allowed?

There has also been instances of fish found dead around parks/play areas and it needs stopping.
The people who run these events have no idea what is going to happen to these fish and have no thought for their welfare.
Lets speak up for these poor animals who are dumped or flushed down toilets all for the sake of entertainment.
I also ask people to boycott these places until something is done for the protection of Goldfish
