Motoring laws are a disgrace and the Government needs to change its penalties for offences, families are going without any justice because offences aren't not seen as criminal.

Under current law, if you carelessly open a door and knock a cyclist into the path of a moving vehicle killing them, you can receive an £80 fine. You now get a £200 fine and six points for using your phone whilst driving, so why can you cause death by being careless and practically get away with it?
