An MP is calling for the Queens Sapphire Jubilee to marked with a bank holiday in June 2017. The MP will present his Queen's Sapphire Jubilee to the Commons shortly. This is yet another example of how we as a nation can apparently afford opulent royal events while having to endure austerity.
