Rejected petition 100% mortgages to family's who can prove they have paid 3 years rent on time.

Most find it difficult to save a deposit, whilst paying high rents and running family affairs i.e. Hobbies, nursery. Therfore given the opportunity to gain a 100% mortgage would give opportunity to make the dream of owning your own home a reality.

This opportunity would re-ignite a slowing housing market and would be a great opportunity for the government to invest in building more homes. I see the main stumbling block for most is the ability to save a deposit for a house whilst maintaining a happy comfortable life. This would take the pressure off families and help them build for the future.This seems almost fool proof as most families want to do their best for their children and what better evidence of reliability than regular rent paid
