Rejected petition Obey the will of the people

I believe the government are deliberately delaying the triggering of article 50 and deliberately stalling on leaving the Eu. The will of the people should be obeyed that is democracy

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Act 2017 received Royal Assent yesterday (16 March). That means it is now law. This law gives the Prime Minister the power to notify, under Article 50(2) of the Treaty on European Union, the United Kingdom’s intention to withdraw from the EU.

The Prime Minister has said that she will trigger Article 50 by the end of this month.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
