Important:

This petition was submitted during the 2015-2017 parliament

Rejected petition Stricter rules and enforcements for female perpetrators of domestic abuse.

There needs to be more recognition of the effects of domestic abuse against males, wether its physical, psychological, financial or sexual abuse.
The effects can be just as devestating for male victims as female victims.
This seems to be ignored.

More details

Men are punished if they perpertrate domestic abuse against women.
But men are ignored and often pushed aside when reporting suffering at the hands of a female. This is an issue which needs to be addressed. Justice is needed. No more double standards.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We understand that you're concerned about male victims of domestic abuse, but we're not sure exactly what action you'd like to be taken. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
