Rejected petition Warfarin is a life saving drug - yet we have to PAY FOR IT ??

I have had the misfortune to suffer a second blood clot in a few years.
My consultant has told me it was a "MASSIVE" clot and subsequently spent 11 days in hospital.
I am now being informed that to stay alive and to prevent further clots I need to take Warfarin for the rest of my life
(As I am only 49 years old that means I have got to pay for at least 16 years until I get to 65 - Then in theory I will get it free).- and I HAVE NOW GOT TO PAY FOR IT ??
This means not only am I as a working person paying my taxes into the NHS I have now got to pay (AGAIN) to stay alive ???
What comedian thought of that ???
Talk about a caring governemnt - don't make me laugh as it might kill me !
