Petition Make it illegal for an insurance company to use "Act of God" in their policies.

A colleague of mine had a tree fall down on to his car, he was fully insured and had not missed a payment. The company refused to pay out, stating it was an "Act of God". My colleague was left with a total write off that was worth scrap value and no choice but to pay thousands out for a new car.

I want to stop insurance companies using this loop hole to cheat the hard working people of this country out of money and the cover they have paid for. We abide by the rules, we pay our taxes, we pay extortionate insurances premiums that keep on rising every year. We derserve to be respected and to have this loop hole made illegal for insurance companies to use.
