Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

The UK Government of Parliament are not responsible for setting up local services for children with ADHD.

If you would like a unit to help with the health concerns of children with ADHD, you could try contacting the Patient Advice and Liaison Service for Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. You can email them at pals@sompar.nhs.uk

You might mean a different sort of unit - a unit giving the sort of support provided by Somerset Carers (www.somersetcarers.org/supp-groups.htm) or ADDers (http://www.adders.org/englandmap.htm#Somerset) for example. You could contact your local councillor for help. You can find out who your local councillor is here:

You could also ask your council to look into funding a unit for children with ADHD or to review a decision. You can find out more about the different ways that you can contact South Somerset District Council here:

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
