Rejected petition MPs should not be allowed additional jobs whilst standing as MPs

British MPs are paid £74,962 a year currently. This is a generous salary that many people in the UK would dream of earning. To take on a second job is unnecessary and distracts from their duties as an MP. With many people unemployed, it is ridiculous that an MP could hold two or three jobs.
