This petition is designed to bring about the election of Judges to Crown Court, by the people of the country, thus bringing accoutability of the Judiciary directly to the electorate.
This would enable the general public to elect a judge on his/her merit and also on their track record as a judge. Enabling the public to remove judges who have been consistently too soft on offenders.
