Petition Make schools have more support for LGBTQ students

Students in U.K. School who are LGBT don't have access to support in many schools, 95% of gay and lesbian students hear homophobic comments regularly and schools don't stand up to it, they have little support for homophobic bullying or don't have people they can talk to about issues they have.

Schools need to train staff to support LGBT students and to encourage students to supports each other to stop homophobic bullying. Bullying for issues such as racism and bullying for other reasons is taken much more seriously, cause LGBT students to miss school out of fear and Because of bullying LGB teens are 4 times more likely to commit suicide. This can be prevented
