Rejected petition Allow laptops to be carried in hand luggage for any flights to improve security

The government has recently banned laptops from being carried in hand luggage on some flights to and from Middle Eastern countries.

This poses a greater security risk as the laptops will not be thoroughly checked and scanned for explosives. It will also make it easier to steal or damage them.
