Why was this petition rejected?

It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. Sentencing is a matter for the courts, so we're not sure exactly what action you would like the Government or Parliament to take about terrorism sentences. You could start a new petition asking Parliament to increase the minimum sentence in law for terrorism-related offences.

Similarly, we're also not sure what you mean by 'review' the Acts you have listed. Parliament can create, debate and repeal laws. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like Parliament to do, such as strengthening or repealing specific laws.

We are also not sure what you mean by 'derogation from Human Rights'.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
