Rejected petition UK settlement visa approval

UK settlement visa applications from non UK/EEC spouses of resident British citizens to be automatically approved after a qualifying period of 3 years marriage, during which time they have maintained their relationship by email and phone, not neccessarily by visits, although should have met in person at least twice.

A British citizens right to a family life should not be determined by the ability to speak English ( this can be learned when together in UK ), or financial situation provided monthly income, from all sources, of sponsor is at least £1000, and has adequate accommodation. Nor should it be determined by education/employment qualifications, or any other reason, as both spouses have proved their genuine marriage by a lasting relationship.
