With an escalating number of killings from lunatic islamists, we MUST protect our Officers - and not with a side stick. OR a tazer. The time has come to make sure EVERY officer who comes into contact with the Public has his or her own side-arm.
The Westminster Islamist attack 22nd March 2017 - the deceased officer was slashed in the throat.
Had the officer had easy access to a gun, he could have shot the assailant.
