Rejected petition Save the Royal Marines from being disbanded

It is being reported in the press that the government is thinking about disbanding the Royal Marines as a cost cutting measure, as a citizen of the UK this I feel is a dangerous and short sighted measure doomed to reduce our defence capability, thus degrading our security and weakening our borders.
