Rejected petition Anull underage foreign marriages.

Germany’s has agreed a new draft law banning child marriages after the recent refugee influx saw brides even younger than 14 arrive in the country.

The draft law, agreed by the German cabinet, has been drawn up to protect minors, especially for girls, by annulling foreign marriages involving underage children.
As a country which stands by our laws on legal age for marriage we should follow the same path to protect all children below 16 in this country.
