Rejected petition Discuss airline and holiday company price increases at school holiday times

I was hoping to send my 3 daughters to Spain for Easter half term only to find the ticket prices increase from £440 term time to £1082 Easter school holiday.
I do not earn more during half term so why do they charge more for school holidays.
