We, the undersigned, strongly object to the Boundary Commission’s proposal to abolish Newcastle’s parliamentary constituency. These proposals completely disregard Newcastle’s community identity by splitting it into two. We would prefer to see the constituency retained and enlarged to include Madeley and Loggerheads & Whitmore.
