Rejected petition Lower down the legal voting age from 18 to 16 for the whole of the UK

In 2015 Scotland lowered the legal voting age down from 18 to 16 for future Scottish Parliamentary and Local elections. The legal voting age remains at 18 for the rest of the UK this means 16 and 17 year old in the rest of the UK are being denied the democratic right to vote.
