More details
On the 7th of June 2011, the Organisation of American States adopted a declaration calling for negotiations to begin between the United Kingdom and Argentina regarding their dispute over the Falkland Islands. This motion was unanimously signed by all members of the OAS, including, dissapointingly, all ten American Commonwealth Realms who share Elizabeth II as Monarch.
In the financial year 2010/2011, the Department for International Development gave £72.5 million to the the nations of the Americas. This petitions calls for the immediate halt of all financial assistance programmes to the Americas.
No UK government department should in anyway shape or form support nations that actively undermine British sovereignty and independence.
