I am petitioning the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to iniate the necessary steps to conduct an independent expert investigation into the allegations of possible abuses to vulnerable children and adults, in establishments operated by the Crown in Gibraltar. These allegations on the surface if true would appear to constitute a serious breach of The Human Rights of those affected. Given the responsability of the UK for upholding implementation of International Obligations in British Overseas Territories, the FCO should take action in this matter.
